WASHINGTON: The United States has rejected the possibilities of sanctions on Pakistan. A US senator in a session of Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has said that expansion of Pakistan’s nuclear programme was due to India.
The senator has also expressed the fear of nuclear war between Pakistan and India. Chairman of Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs Senator Bob Corker termed Pakistan a major US ally. Meeting also advised not to support India for Nuclear Supplier Group (NSG), while aid to Pakistan was subjected to the outcome of the war against terrorism.
